Terms and Conditions
Effective date: September 27, 2026
Operator: VIGILO LLC, operating as Vigilo Academy
Website: https://vigiloacademy.com
These Terms govern access to the Vigilo Academy website and the digital awareness materials offered by VIGILO LLC (“VIGILO,” “we,” or “us”). Please read them before purchasing. The applicable sales page and checkout identify what is included in a particular purchase. If specific checkout terms conflict with these general Terms, the specific purchase terms control for that transaction, subject to applicable law.
1. What VIGILO Provides
VIGILO provides access to digital awareness materials that present information about common scam patterns and warning signs. Users may view and consult these materials at their own pace. The content is for general informational purposes.
VIGILO does not assess an individual situation; determine whether a particular person, message, website, offer, or transaction is legitimate; verify third parties; investigate incidents; monitor accounts or devices; respond to emergencies; or recover accounts or funds. The materials are not individualized legal, financial, investment, tax, cybersecurity, or other professional advice. More information about these limits appears in the Digital Awareness Disclaimer on our website.
2. Eligibility and Agreement
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live if higher, to purchase access. By placing an order, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. A parent or guardian who makes materials available to a minor is responsible for supervising that use.
The purchase checkout must provide an opportunity to review these Terms and affirmatively accept them before an order is submitted. Simply visiting the public website does not, by itself, establish acceptance of purchase terms.
3. Annual Access and Renewal
The current subscription costs $39 for the first year of access to the materials identified at checkout. Unless you cancel before the next billing date, it automatically renews for successive one-year periods at $39 per year. The checkout must display the recurring charge, renewal interval, and cancellation method clearly before payment. If the price or other material renewal terms change, we will give any notice and obtain any consent required by applicable law before charging under the changed terms.
The paid access period begins when access is made available following a successful purchase. The purchase confirmation should identify the transaction and how to locate the billing and cancellation information. Separate products, including any separately priced toolkit, are included only if expressly listed in the applicable offer and checkout.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel future renewals before the next billing date. Cancellation stops future renewal charges. Access to the subscribed materials continues until the current subscription period expires, when the cancellation takes effect. Cancellation does not automatically reverse a charge already processed; refund requests are addressed under section 6.
To cancel through your systeme.io account, select your profile picture, then Settings → Manage my subscriptions. Find the Vigilo Academy subscription, select the three-dot menu, choose Cancel subscription, and confirm. You may also use the contact information on the VIGILO website if you need assistance. VIGILO will provide any additional cancellation method or renewal notice required by applicable law.
5. Orders, Payment, and Access
By completing a purchase, you authorize the charges disclosed at checkout, including the recurring charge described in section 3. Payment may be handled by third-party processors under their own terms and privacy practices. You must provide accurate billing and contact details.
Access instructions will be provided electronically, through the applicable account or to the email address supplied at purchase. If you cannot access materials you purchased, contact us through the website so we can investigate and address the problem. We may cancel an order for a pricing error, unauthorized transaction, or suspected fraud. If we cancel a paid order before providing access, we will return the payment for that order.
6. Refunds and Billing Concerns
Refund requests are reviewed based on the circumstances of the transaction and applicable law. A request does not guarantee a refund. Nothing in these Terms removes a right that cannot lawfully be waived. Contact VIGILO through the website about a refund request, an access problem, or a billing question. This does not limit your right to dispute an unauthorized or improper charge with your payment provider.
7. Limited Use of Materials
During your paid access period, VIGILO grants you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to view and use the included materials for your own informational purposes. You may make reasonable personal notes. The purchase does not transfer ownership of the content or authorize its resale, public posting, republication, commercial distribution, or sharing of account credentials. Do not remove proprietary notices or present VIGILO materials as your own. Separate written permission is required for organizational redistribution or commercial use.
8. Accounts and Acceptable Use
Keep account credentials confidential and notify us if you suspect unauthorized account access. Do not use the website or materials to commit fraud, distribute malicious code, interfere with the platform, access restricted systems without permission, or violate others' rights. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address a material violation, suspected fraud, or a security issue, subject to applicable law. We will consider whether a less restrictive response can resolve the issue.
9. Third-Party Platforms and Links
Hosting, payment, email, and content delivery may depend on third-party providers. Their terms and privacy notices may also apply to your interactions with them. References or links to outside sources are provided for information and do not indicate endorsement, affiliation, or verification unless expressly stated. Third-party interruptions may occur; if they prevent access to paid materials, contact us so we can address the access issue.
10. Content and Results
Scam methods and public guidance change. The materials present selected patterns and examples and may be updated. They cannot cover every situation or guarantee that a user will recognize or avoid a scam, account compromise, identity theft, or financial loss. Before acting on a specific request, consider checking current information through an independently located official channel. VIGILO is not a reporting or emergency-response service.
We may correct or update materials during an access period, but will not intentionally remove the essential content described in the paid offer without an appropriate alternative or remedy under applicable law.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how personal information is handled. These Terms do not replace that policy or any rights under applicable privacy law. We do not ask users to submit passwords, payment-card details, or other sensitive incident information through the general contact form.
12. Warranties and Responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the website and materials are provided as available, without a promise that they will be uninterrupted or identify every deceptive situation. Nothing in these Terms excludes any express commitment in the applicable offer, any obligation to provide purchased access, or any warranty or consumer right that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
VIGILO is not responsible for decisions a person makes in response to a third party or for the third party's conduct merely because the person viewed VIGILO materials. This provision does not excuse VIGILO's own unlawful conduct, misrepresentations, failure to provide purchased access, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms prospectively. The effective date above will show the latest revision. Material changes to an active paid subscription will be communicated as required by law. A change will not retroactively remove rights that arose under the terms applicable at purchase. Changes to price or renewal terms will follow section 3.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
Florida law governs these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory consumer protections that apply to a purchaser remain in effect. Before bringing a dispute, you may contact us through the website so we can try to resolve it, but doing so is not a condition that limits any legal deadline or nonwaivable right. No arbitration agreement, class-action waiver, or mandatory exclusive court venue is created by these Terms.
15. Other Terms and Contact
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive it. These Terms, the specific purchase terms displayed before payment, and any applicable refund policy describe the transaction. The Privacy Policy and Digital Awareness Disclaimer are available separately on the website.
Questions about these Terms, billing, cancellation, or access may be submitted through the contact form at https://vigiloacademy.com.
